Welcome to QRDine. By accessing or using our platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. Please read them carefully before using our services.

These terms govern your use of QRDine's digital menu platform, including our website, dashboard, and QR code menu services for restaurants and their customers.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account or using QRDine services, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy.

If you are using QRDine on behalf of a restaurant or business, you represent that you have the authority to bind that entity to these terms.

2. Account Registration & Eligibility

• You must be at least 18 years old to create a QRDine account.
• You must provide accurate, complete, and current information during registration.
• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials.
• You agree not to share your account with others or allow unauthorized access.
• One account per restaurant/business. Multiple establishments require separate accounts.

3. Service Description

QRDine provides a digital menu platform that allows restaurants to:

• Create and manage digital menus with items, categories, descriptions, and images
• Generate QR codes that link to their digital menu
• Update menu content in real-time without reprinting materials
• Provide customers with a mobile-optimized menu browsing experience
• Access analytics and insights about menu views and customer behavior (where available)

4. User Responsibilities

As a restaurant user, you agree to:

• Accurate Information: Ensure all menu items, prices, descriptions, and allergen information are accurate and up-to-date.
• Content Ownership: Only upload images and content that you own or have the right to use.
• Compliance: Comply with all applicable laws, including food safety, labeling, and advertising regulations.
• No Misuse: Not use the platform for illegal, harmful, or fraudulent purposes.
• Regular Updates: Keep your menu information current, especially regarding item availability and pricing.

5. Prohibited Activities

You may not:

• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to QRDine systems or other user accounts
• Use automated systems or scripts to scrape or extract data from QRDine
• Upload malicious code, viruses, or any harmful software
• Impersonate another restaurant or misrepresent your affiliation
• Use the service to distribute spam or unsolicited communications
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract source code from the platform

6. Pricing & Payment

Free Tier: QRDine offers a free tier with basic features including menu creation, QR code generation, and public menu hosting.

Premium Features: Additional features may be offered as paid upgrades. Pricing will be clearly displayed before purchase.

We reserve the right to modify pricing with 30 days' notice to existing users. Changes will not affect active subscription periods.

7. Intellectual Property

Platform Ownership: QRDine retains all rights, title, and interest in the platform, including its design, code, features, and branding.

Your Content: You retain ownership of the menu content, images, and descriptions you upload. By using QRDine, you grant us a limited license to display, store, and transmit your content as necessary to provide the service.

Licensed Use: We grant you a non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the platform in accordance with these terms.

8. Service Availability & Modifications

We strive to maintain 99.9% uptime but cannot guarantee uninterrupted service. QRDine may be unavailable due to maintenance, updates, or circumstances beyond our control.

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue features with reasonable notice. Critical bug fixes and security updates may be applied without notice.

9. Limitation of Liability

QRDine is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for:

• Loss of revenue, profits, or business opportunities
• Inaccurate menu information or pricing errors you publish
• Data loss (though we maintain regular backups)
• Customer disputes arising from your menu content
• Indirect, incidental, or consequential damages

Our total liability shall not exceed the fees you paid to QRDine in the 12 months preceding the claim.

10. Termination

By You: You may delete your account at any time from the dashboard settings. Your menu will be removed within 24 hours.

By Us: We may suspend or terminate your account if:

• You violate these Terms of Service
• Your account is inactive for more than 12 months
• We detect fraudulent or abusive behavior
• Required by law or legal process

Upon termination, your right to use QRDine immediately ceases. We may retain certain data for legal and backup purposes.

11. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email and/or a dashboard notification.

Continued use of QRDine after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the new terms. If you disagree, you may terminate your account.
